This sugar coated cranberry recipe is so EASY, all you need is sugar, water and fresh cranberries! Candied cranberries are basically fresh cranberries dipped in simple syrup and coated with granulated sugar.

Some tips on making your candied cranberries:
Wash and dry your cranberries: Make sure to wash and dry your cranberries completely. This will allow the sugar to stick more evenly on your cranberries.
What to use candied cranberries for?
EAT: They are tangy, sweet and the perfect snack. Usually cranberries on their own are not enjoyable, but once coated in the sugar and candied they are so yummy!
GARNISH: Garnish your holiday drinks with them, to add a fun element to your drink! Super cute way to impress your guests.

STEP 1: SIMPLE SYRUP
To make simple syrup you will need to bring to a boil your sugar and water. Pour your water and sugar into a pan and boil for 3 minutes. Once you do this you want to take off of the heat and stir for 1 minute.
STEP 2: CRANBERRIES
Add your fresh cranberries to your simple syrup mixture and stir for another minute. Completely coat your cranberries in the simple syrup. Once you have done this, drain your cranberries with a strainer. Place your cranberries on parchment paper and let cool for 1 hour.
STEP 3: COAT CRANBERRIES
In a plate pour granulated sugar and roll your cranberries in the sugar. Coat evenly with the sugar and enjoy!

1 cup of fresh cranberries
